Melon & Prosciutto Skewers

This is one of summer’s most refreshing appetizers, ideal for easy entertaining or elegant event.

  • 1 ripe cantaloupe or Crenshaw melon (about 2 lbs / 1 kg)
  • 8 oz / 225 g thinly sliced prosciutto or serano ham

  1. Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds. Use a melon baller to make bite-size spheres. Cut the prosciutto or ham into strips.
  2. Thread a melon ball on a skewer, followed by a strip of prosciutto, another melon ball and so on. Repeat with more skewers and the remaining ingredients.
