Tuna and Black Olives Tramezinni

Simple tuna sandwich recipe with just few ingredients. It’s perfect for quick lunch or picnic snack.


  • 8 oz / 225 g canned tuna in oil
  • 1 big red onion
  • bunch of sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 8 tbsp black olive pesto
  • 8 slices sandwich bread

  1. Combine tuna, diced onion, drained and chopped tomatoes, lemon juice, and mix with a fork.
  2. Spread each slice of bread with 1 tbsp olive pesto. Spread the tuna mixture in an even layer over half of the slices. Cover with the remaining slices.
  3. Slice the sandwich diagonally and serve paired with green salad.
